Hello

I'm Riley-Kate Pappas

My passion lies in creating moments that become movements–transcending the barriers of modern marketing and going beyond what is expected. I have a passion for the unconventional, the ideas that make you think twice and the ones some people may consider impossible. I recognize the power of creating memorable experiences that resonate with audiences. As a  Gen Z, digital native, you can count on me to bring a dynamic mix of creativity, strategic thinking, and hands-on experience to every project.

I’m passionate about building brands that feel human—ones that inspire, connect, and challenge expectations. Branding excites me because it’s about more than consistency—it’s about shaping how people experience and emotionally connect with a brand over time. I love the concept of crafting

personalities that go beyond a logo or tagline to become part of everyday culture. That’s also why I’m drawn to experiential marketing—because it brings those personalities to life in ways people can see, feel, and remember. Whether it’s a moment that sparks emotion or a campaign that shifts perception, I’m driven by the power of branding to not just sell, but to resonate, relate, and transform.

Born and raised in Rhode Island, I have spent the past four years in Washington, DC, earning a bachelor's and master's degree. During my time at American University, I've gained hands-on experience through internships across diverse industries, including non-profit, government, technology, lifestyle, film, events, sports, and local journalism. These opportunities have allowed me to apply my academic knowledge in real-world settings, strengthening my ability to adapt and excel. I aim to leverage my dual degrees to gain a comprehensive perspective on business operations, coupled with my drive, to drive success in my future endeavors.

I'm driven by a work-hard, play-hard ethos and thrive on challenges that offer learning opportunities. I have come to enjoy the fast-paced, unpredictable nature of the marketing industry, teaching me to be adaptable and quick on my feet. I want every day to be different, to bring new challenges, and help shape me as a young professional.
